At Silver Birch Cycles we take pride in attention to detail. We tune, adjust, and test ride each bike, not just for the owner, but as if it were our own. And remember, these are by no means the only options available. Quite often your bicycle only needs adjustment or repair in one or a few places. Please bring your bike by with any questions and we can give you a free estimate.

Our aim is for you to have a safe, reliable bicycle that you enjoy. We don't take this lightly. Bikes are simple yet complex machines. In addition to making sure everything functions properly we go the extra step to make sure your bike fits you right and it works well for its intended purpose.

  • Flat Fix $12.00

  • Tubeless Tire setup + parts extra $30.00

  • Hydraulic Brake Bleed (mineral or DOT fluid) $40.00 per brake.

  • Wheel Truing $20.00 (spoke replacement is $1.00 per spoke)

  • Wheel building $90.00 ea.

  • Rack and Fender Installation $10.00-$50.00 ea.

  • Derailleur Adjustment $15.00

  • Brake Adjustment/Installation $15.00

  • Basic Dropper Service $35.00

  • Drivetrain Overhaul $40.00

  • Hub or Bottom Bracket Overhaul $30.00

“Barn Rescue” Tune Up $250.00 plus up parts

Same as Complete Tune plus…

  • Rust removed from steel parts (Handlebars, Stem, Seat Post, Derailleur Cages, Pulley Wheel Bushings, Rims, Bolts, etc.)

  • Corrosion removed from alloy parts (Same as above depending on bike model)

  • Parts replaced as necessary

Complete Overhaul $240.00 plus parts (4 Hours)

  • Bicycle completely dis-assembled

  • All components removed and cleaned

  • Clean, lube, and adjust Headset, Bottom Bracket, Hubs, Brakes, Drive Train, Derailleurs and Shifting

  • Precision Wheel Truing

  • Inflate Tires

  • Clean and Polish Frame

  • Safety Check

  • Replace parts as necessary

Custom Projects or Builds $80.00/Hr

Cost may vary depending on the scope of work.

Job Assessment $60.00/Hr (1Hr Charge)

If we do a full assessment and you decide not to have us do the rest of the work, that’s okay, we understand. However, we do need to charge you for the time we spent. This charge is included in almost all completed tune-ups and basic repairs.

Consultation $80.00/Hr (1Hr Charge)

Bikes are fun to custom build, but parts manufacturers are NOT often compatible. We have years of experience that help us know what works together. We’re happy to help with simple questions, but if you’re building a whole bike, we have to charge you for our time/knowledge.

Extremely Dirty Bikes $20.00

We can’t fix what we can’t see!

Dog Poop in Tires $20.00 per tire

We don’t wanna accidentally fling it around the shop! Think: quickly spinning tire with poop in your house. Doesn’t sound fun, does it?

Removing Tar From Various Parts $60.00/Hr

That’s more cleaning than just a tune up. If they’re actively paving the road, consider avoiding it!

Pick Up and Delivery $60.00/Hr (1 Hr Min Charge)

We’re happy to help you get your bike here and back, please call for arrangements.

Bicycle Assembly $100.00

Assemble bike, includes complete tune-up and additional accessories (kickstands, rear racks, etc.)

Bicycle Disposal $75.00

There are times when the repair costs more than the bike is worth. Yes, we can dispose of it for you. No, your broken bike is not a donation.

E-BIKE Assembly $75.00+ ($60.00/Hr)

E-Bikes are fun! They’re also heavy and more complicated to build, we’re happy to help, but the average build cost is a little higher.

Bicycle Packaging $60.00

Not including shipping charges or special boxes. We have cardboard bike boxes available most times.

Bicycle Fitting $60.00

Takes about an hour for a complete measurement and fit.
